WRC rally Croatia 2024 - day one
18. April 2024, Zagreb
This was a big one. We prepared for this one for a month and planned to attend all four days. In the end we
were there 3/4 days, but were extremelly satisfied with our trip.
The plan for the first day was to go to Zagreb and pick up my brother. Me and my girlfriend arrived a bit earlier and
headed to service park without him. Per his information there was going to be a driver meetup with the fans.
As we were going to the service park we saw a copetiotor and per usual it was mandatory to sound a horn on our car and chase after him.
He knows where to go! When we arrived at the service park we picked up our acredditation and saw this cars parked in the center.
The driver meetup didn't go as we planned. As soon as the drivers got out and started signing the crowd went nuts and the line was no more.
The people that cut the line got what they wanted (with multiple things signed) while the people that patiently waited got nothing.
Ok some you get some you lose but the people watching for order were extrealy rude and were just laughing it of. The worst part, at least for me,
wasn't that we got nothing but this rudness of the people who are big and strong when nothing is going on and as soon as the job needs to be done they don't care.
Well the T-shirts we bought are coming with us and they will be signed! (eventualy)
The redeming thing was that we managed to get a picture with Jona!
We looked around the service park and captured some more photos, but we didn't stay for long as we needed to prepare for tommorow as we will be heading towards Rijeka, up
to Platak for some rally action. Enjoy the service park!
